Seeing a few of the mums bundling up in their dressing gowns for our Zoom meetings, we decided an end of term pamper session was in order.
Cosying up in their comfies, wine glasses in hand, the ladies chilled out with a relaxing, body scan meditation. Then practiced steady breathing using Ujjayi Victorious breath, a yoga technique that gives the breathing an ocean sound. A five minute face massage followed before warming up using some calm, ‘zen’ sounding pentatonic scales.
We then had lots of fun, singing through all the new songs learnt during the half term. The mums all finished the pamper session feeling less stressed and with smiles on their faces.
